These are ‘hookah pipes’ at the new Beruit restaurant located in the Playa Blanca Resort, Panama. This Lebanese restaurant is one I have been wanting to try, but it was only in Panama City before. This one is much easier to get to for us, as we don’t have to fight the city traffic in order to enjoy this amazing food. I’ve travelled to many countries around the world, including Turkey, but have never seen or tried the hookah pipe – which amazed my friends. So I did indeed try it! I detest cigarette smoke, so was quite hesitant. But this was very different, as the smoke is actually ‘flavoured’, and passes through water before it comes out the tube. Very interesting indeed!
