365 Day Photo Challenge – Day 241

Panamanian limes

Being a Canadian, it is still such a wonderful sight to see fruit growing in our yard here in Panama! This afternoon, as I walked around the yard with my camera, I noticed these limes hanging over our back fence. Needless to say, after I took the picture I plucked them from their branch and brought them inside to enjoy! Many of the limes here are orange inside, and are a somewhat different flavour than the imported all-green ones. In fact, many Panamanians don’t even eat them. Such a shame!
