This morning I did a 9.5km trail walk in Oakville with my friend Judi and her neighbour. Near the end of the trail, I noticed a cut-off tree that had been artistically carved into a figure. When I pointed it out, both women were shocked, as although they had been walking that trail repeatedly for a few years, neither had noticed this carving. Judi and I returned later with my camera and asked a passerby how long it had been there. He informed us the carving had been done approximately three years ago, and the neighbours all knew him and referred to him by the name of Henry! Amazing the things you notice when you are looking for a ‘photo of the day’!
