Papayas are not something I truly loved before living in Panama. They kind of taste that resembles stinky cheese, lol. I’ve learned that there are two kinds of papaya available in Panama. The large, abundant ones are wonderful for putting in my morning smoothies. I cut it up into chunks, throw them in the freezer, and add a few chunks to my smoothie, along with other fruit such as mango, pineapple, passionfruit, banana or whatever else I happen to have in the house. The smaller papayas are also good in smoothies, and don’t have quite as strong of a smelly-cheese flavour to them. The seeds are also great for various health reasons, so I include them as well. The symmetry of this papaya tree particularly caught my eye today, along with the wonderful blue sky in the background, so I thought I would share it with you!
