365 Day Photo Challenge – Day 169

Oh those amazing eyes!

This little dragonfly was swimming in our pool and I rescued him, placing him on a nearby planter. On sunny days, of which there are plenty here in Panama, the dragonflies fly laps up and down the length of our pool. I love to watch them! So it saddens me when I find one struggling like this. He posed wonderfully for my photo though – which was very kind of him. I’m loving the texture of his eyes, and detail of his face. Nature is just amazing!
