Culantro

This is culantro – a cousin to cilantro, but culantro livess in Panama and cilantro does not (or at least I haven’t found any yet). Culantro tastes almost exactly the same as its cousin, but looks very different. I think it looks a lot like dandelion leaves! It grows wild here, as I often smell it first and then see it while I’m out for a walk. This one is growing in my garden. I use it in salads, soups, chicken dishes, thai dishes, mango salads and whatever else I can find an excuse to put it in as I love the taste of it!
