Queso Mili

This is a favorite stop of ours (and many others) along the highway when we are in need of a quick snack, and is along the highway just outside of Gorgona, Panama. Queso Mili is a great place to stop for empanadas, fried chicken and fresh fruit juice. On the weekends they also sell fresh cashews and vegetables. We were first brought to this place by our Panamanian ‘family’ over a year ago. We loved it! For under $10USD we can get a few pieces of fried chicken, a couple of empanadas each and a drink – for three people! Can’t beat that!
