I had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful house in Costa Esmerelda, Panama today. The above decoration captured my eye, as it seemed very simple, calming and zen-like. “The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.” — Hans Hoffman. To me, lots of color is not always necessary. I feel that simple and sparse is more comfortable for me than clutter and loads of color. This house was very symmetrically balanced (which I loved), not over-decorated, yet very inviting. Listening to the ocean waves that were only a street away also added to the ambiance of the place. Beautiful!
