365 Day Photo Challenge – Day 123

Mangoes, mangoes, mangoes!

Mangoes, mangoes, mangoes! I’m getting about sixty mangoes each day now falling from the tree in our front yard. About half of them I cut up right away, and the other half I’ve been giving away. But my freezer is almost full of only mangoes now, so I’ve got very happy friends who are gracious recipients of multitudes of mangoes also :-). This evening we happened to have some bags of cut mangoes in the car with us when we went to Mama Mia’s for ‘Happy Hour’, so we brought them in and they made us wonderful mango martinis! Mango smoothies have been popular in the mornings (for me at least), and mango chutney is on the list of to-do’s con mi amiga. Anyone wanting to forward any awesome mango recipes, they would be greatly appreciated!
