Fuzzy Nut!
This fuzzy little thing looks like it would be nice and soft like a dandelion when it is seeding. However it is quite strong and bristle-like, and surprisingly it has a nut of some kind in it! I didn’t stop to break it open as I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes at the time, but would be interested in knowing what kind of nut resides in such an interesting ‘shell’!
