365 Day Photo Challenge – Day 118

Surfer dude

Today was a surf day. Bi-weekly on Fridays we go to kids’ lessons at El Palmar beach. The parents gather on the beach, chat and catch up, while the kids learn to surf. As a Canadian, I must say this sure beats cold arenas and stinky gymnasiums! It has become a wonderful gathering place for both the kids and the parents as we all get to know each other. After a tough lesson-watching in the sun we typically go off to find some pizza somewhere close by. Yes, life in Panama is good :-).
