365 Day Photo Challenge – Day 112

Small Hibiscus

These hibiscus flowers were planted just before we moved in here last August. Back then they just looked like little sticks in the ground along the wall. A couple of months ago they began to bloom and low and behold we discovered they were another type of hibiscus than the bushier version with larger flowers that we have. These flowers are much smaller in size than the ones from my own plants, but the blossoms are very dainty and beautiful. They were a wonderful surprise when we discovered them!
