I was laying in my hammock, reading on my iPad, the dog laying sleepily beside me on the ceramic tiles, and all of a sudden we heard something crashing down at the back of the yard. When we got up to inspect, we discovered a large dead palm leaf had fallen into our yard. The tree it came from is about 30 feet tall, standing majestically in the corner of our back neighbor’s yard. It seems that every time it drops a leaf, it ends up in our yard. As you can imagine, they are quite large – but I typically just push it back over the wall so that the owner can dispose of the refuge. This shot was the a very small portion of it!
