Today, Easter Sunday, I went to church with my Texan friends the Bayliss’ here in Coronado. The service was lovely, and we followed it up by going to a local restaurant called Cholos for brunch. We all enjoyed different versions of Eggs Benedict – mine included spinach and tomato. Yum! As we were finishing up, we were discussing the variety of fruit trees Owen (the owner) had on his property – one of which was a pomegranate tree. It is the first time I have seen or heard of a pomegranate tree here, so I was quite excited! Owen quickly picked two off the tree – one for Lynda and one for me! I will dry some of the seeds and see if I can grow one in the back yard :-). Thank you Owen!
