365 Day Photo Challenge – Day 39

Avocados awaiting the magical transformation into guacamole!

One of the many things I love about living in Panama is the abundance of avocados. Even when they are not in season, they are usually readily available in the grocery store. They will be in season again here in a few months. Based on the ripeness of these ones, we will be having a good dose of guacamole tomorrow! I’ve memorized my recipe by now:

2 avocados
1 small red onion (finely chopped)
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 ripe tomato chopped
1 lime – juiced
1 – 2 tbs culantro/cilantro
a pinch of sea salt
