Palm leaves getting ready to unfold
It is now ‘dry season’ in Panama, and rain is incredibly sparse unless you are in the mountains where the water still falls from the sky. While this is in some ways a wonderful treat to have hot, sun-drenched days, it is not such a treat for the plants.
As I made my way through watering the plants today, I noticed this new growth in the lower part of one of the palm plants. I took quite a few shots trying to get ‘just the right one’ and ended up with a few that I was quite happy with. This one offers the most intrigue though, and thought you would enjoy!
