As I was sitting at my desk (aka laying in my hammock with my MacBook) trying to get some work done, I kept being drawn to the aloe that we have growing in the garden about a yard or so from my ‘desk’. There are a multitude of different shoots now growing alongside our ‘mama’ plant that was given to us and I was wondering what to do with them. So I Googleed it, and learned from a blog called “Me vs. the House” that each one is its own entity. I also learned about how to gather and store the amazing aloe gel from the plant and store it in the refrigerator for up to a month. Being a Canadian, I’ve never had aloe growing in my garden before – so much to learn in Panama!
